This was a very slow recording of Princess done at the Cinquini Ranch in San Diego, California. Timothy now plays the song much faster at his shows.

This song was written faster than any of Timothy's previous songs. Timothy wrote this song completely (lyrics, melody and guitar chords and rhythm) in about 15 minutes.

It all came out in a flash after Timothy chanted 4 hours for his fiancée, who was in a beauty pageant that day in Japan, while he was in his dorm room in California. He chanted 3 hours the night before, because Junko said she was really nervous, because she had never given a speech in English, and she had to at this beauty pageant.

After chanting for 7 hours in the two days, Timothy said he saw a picture of Junko winning the contest in her wedding dress. He emailed her before the contest that he already knows she won the contest, and he wrote the song and called her and performed it to her over the phone, before she left her hotel room for the competition.


Luckily, his premonition was right and she won the contest. The song stems from the Buddhist belief that all people have infinite potential and he was calling forth that infinite potential in Junko to be as great as he knew she could be. Perhaps the judges saw the infinite potential as she walked on stage in her wedding dress.
