Timothy wrote this song after recovering from a break up in a long distance relationship.

It was one of the first songs he recorded with Fathan, the co-singer in his Orange County band Stranger's Milk.

Fathan and Timothy made a band demo tape with 2 of her songs and 2 of his songs. They sold it at their shows. One day they got a call from the host of KSBR radio's local artist spotlight and he said he was going to play one of the songs on their tape.

They were both shocked, because they didn't send the tape to any radio stations. Instead a fan who had bought the tape at their show sent it to the host of the show and he decided to play it.

The whole band sat around the radio listening, not knowing which song on the tape would be played. Timothy was glad they chose the song he originally wanted to put as the first song on the tape.
